Nocturnal Walk

Join naturalist Ian Hutton for a guided nocturnal walk, seeking out creatures such as endemic bugs, bats and butterflies. A font of Island knowledge, Ian will also share snippets of history, information on the volcanic geology and tales about local conservation efforts along the way. There will be opportunities to spot the many unique landbirds of the Island, including the ever-popular Woodhens.

Please meet Ian at the Museum for both sessions. Your ticket includes a Dark Sky Festival keyring torch which will be handed out by Ian on the night. These sessions will go ahead in all weather conditions. 

Dates: Tuesday 19th May 2026, Wednesday 20th May 2026 and Thursday 21st May 2026.

Times: Both a 7pm session and a 9pm Session – 1.5 hour duration.
