Back by popular demand, our Light Walk is an evening walking trail celebrating art, light, and community spirit—designed and created by our talented Island residents.

As twilight falls, embark on a evening bush walk beneath the island’s night sky and discover a series of captivating light installations crafted with care, imagination and a touch of island magic. Each piece reflects our connection to this remarkable place — its people, its stories and its breathtaking natural beauty. Our Light Walk is a shared celebration of creativity and connection, inviting locals and visitors alike to see familiar paths illuminated in an entirely new way.

Dates: Sunday 17th May 2026 – Saturday 23rd May 2026

Time: Between 5pm and 6:30pm each evening

Location: Stevens Reserve Walking Track, Lord Howe Island

Optional: donation by cash or card at the start of the track – all proceeds go toward the Lord Howe Island Central School 5/6 Canberra Excursion.
